Daniel Knox is a certified drug and alcohol counselor, mental health educator, and nonprofit leader dedicated to building bridges between clinical care, education, and community engagement. As Executive Director of Knox Clinical Alliance, he leads a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, educators, and community specialists united by a single vision: to make prevention proactive, caregiving supported, and healthcare profoundly human.

With more than a decade of experience in substance use prevention, case management, and program design, Daniel has worked at the intersection of behavioral health and education to empower individuals, families, and professionals alike. His leadership integrates trauma-informed practice with evidence-based prevention strategies—ensuring that every initiative of Knox Clinical Alliance serves both immediate community needs and long-term systemic change.

Before founding Knox Clinical Alliance, Daniel spent years working directly with individuals and families affected by substance use and co-occurring disorders. His work in treatment centers and community organizations shaped his belief that education, prevention, and connection are inseparable components of healing. Daniel holds an MBA with eduction specific to nonprofit management, blending clinical insight with strategic expertise. Tanya Jacob, PhD

Dr. Tanya Jacob is a psychologist, educator, and nonprofit leader whose career spans more than two decades of clinical service, teaching, and program development. As Chief Financial Officer and Director of Communications for Knox Clinical Alliance, she combines the precision of fiscal oversight with the insight of a clinical psychologist and the empathy of a storyteller. Her work ensures that the organization’s mission—uniting clinicians to promote prevention, compassion, and community wellness—is communicated clearly, ethically, and with human depth.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jacob has been devoted to improving access to trauma-informed mental-health care and creating systems where clinicians, caregivers, and communities can thrive. She has provided direct services to adolescents, families, and adults across diverse settings, including community mental-health centers, hospitals, and private practice. Her clinical work emphasizes emotional regulation, family systems, and recovery from trauma, and she is particularly skilled in helping individuals who experience emotions with great intensity or identify as neurodivergent.

At Knox Clinical Alliance, Dr. Jacob oversees the organization’s financial strategy, communications, and public engagement. Before joining Knox Clinical Alliance, Dr. Jacob maintained a thriving private practice focused on adults, teenagers, and families seeking relief from anxiety, relational distress, and trauma-related challenges. Her therapeutic style integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic insight, and mindfulness-based interventions—offering clients a space of warmth, safety, and growth. She is known for her skill in navigating complex family dynamics and supporting individuals who feel “too much” for others, helping them discover strength and stability within their own sensitivity.

Dr. Jesse Jacob is a licensed psychologist, educator, and community mental-health advocate whose work bridges clinical science, prevention education, and organizational leadership. As Regional Director of Knox Clinical Alliance, he oversees program development, community partnerships, and regional implementation strategies across diverse settings. His leadership brings both clinical rigor and creative vision to the organization’s mission of uniting clinicians to educate underserved communities about substance use, mental health, and compassionate care.

With a career spanning psychology, education, and public health, Dr. Jacob has dedicated himself to improving the accessibility, quality, and humanity of mental-health services. He is deeply committed to trauma-informed practice and to cultivating systems that empower people and families to understand and manage emotional challenges before they become crises. His approach integrates evidence-based interventions with cultural and contextual awareness, ensuring that each program reflects the diverse realities of the communities it serves.

Dr. Jacob’s background in both clinical treatment and educational design informs his leadership of key initiatives within Knox Clinical Alliance. He plays a central role in advancing the organization’s prevention and wellness programs, collaborating with clinicians and educators to deliver meaningful experiences for adults navigating anxiety, codependency, depression, and addiction.
